Leva Matematik Kampı hakkında bilgiler. Leva Matematik Kampı'na başvurun What is the Leva Mathematics Camp? Organized completely free of charge by the Leva Science Society, the Leva Mathematics Camp (LMK) has been held online every summer since 2023. Open to participants of all ages and from all countries, the camp attracts middle school, high school, and university students from all 81 provinces of Turkey and many other countries each year. The camp's aim is to provide training in various fields, primarily mathematics olympiads and advanced mathematics; to monitor and guide participants' progress through mentors; to dissect every piece of information taught and examine its true meaning; and to teach participants how to apply these approaches to learning in all areas of their lives. LMK's scope is not limited to mathematics alone. Our instructors also offer 'culture' classes in fields like science, culture, art, and hobbies where they possess knowledge and experience, expanding the learning experience in a friendly and engaging environment. For more detailed information and the meanings of some concepts specific to our camp, please review the announcement text. Application Process Talent and Culture Interview Readiness Test (HBS) Applications are announced on Leva's social media channels and website. Anyone who is fluent in Turkish can apply. Applicants whose applications are accepted undergo aptitude and cultural interviews. The aptitude interview is a math test consisting of several questions, each requiring an explanation of the solution. The purpose of a cultural interview is to get to know the individual, focusing on their perspective on everyday situations and their areas of interest. These interviews are not for elimination, but for getting to know the applicant. It's important that both interviews are taken seriously. The Readiness Exam (formerly known as the Leva Mathematics Competition) is the final step before applying to LMK. Held online over two days for 4.5 hours each, the exam features math problems across all difficulty levels. While the starting questions may be tackled easily, the final problems can reach the level of the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). Based on the exam results, principal and provisional students are determined, and top-ranking students are awarded medals at the graduation ceremony. Camp Process Final Exam General Aptitude Test Following the HBS, camp groups are formed. Training is provided in 5-day periods called "Gencuk" and each group's program is announced at the beginning of the week, but may change over time. Additionally, class recordings are stored in an archive. Instructors can create assignments for their lessons if they wish. The Final Exam (BS) is an assessment covering the mathematical olympiad subjects taught at LMK. Because it is based on the TÜBİTAK National Mathematical Olympiad Second Round Exam in both format and question quality, it provides great practice for students preparing for the official exam. The General Aptitude Test (GYS) is an untimed exam featuring questions from various fields of science and culture. Each question is built around a long narrative and contains multiple sub-questions. Solving these questions requires a significant amount of research and imagination. While the GYS has no fixed deadline, if it is a requirement for graduation, the specified completion rate must be achieved during the graduation process. Graduation Process To qualify for graduation from Leva, participants must accumulate the required number of course credits. This necessitates completing course assignments, meeting minimum attendance requirements, or reviewing course recordings and submitting corresponding summaries. Although participants may fulfill these graduation criteria during the camp, the camp's duration may be insufficient. Therefore, an additional grace period is granted following the final session of the camp to allow for the completion of all graduation requirements. Please note that graduation criteria are subject to change over time. Graduation Ceremony The closing event of the camp is the graduation ceremony. During this ceremony, graduating students receive their graduation certificates alongside any other certificates of achievement they may have earned. Our Instructors Our mathematics instructors include many individuals who have progressed from the first stage of mathematics olympiads to the national team level. Our culture instructors, on the other hand, have volunteered to teach subjects in which they possess specific expertise. The common characteristic of all instructors is their mastery of the subject matter and how it should be conveyed. More Information Continued Leva Mathematics Camp 2026 In our online camp, which we will be organizing for the fourth time this year, we will be offering courses on math olympiad, advanced mathematics, other science fields, and many other subjects, and as always, we will learn and progress together. Apply More Info Leva Leva Science Society is an independent and collective organization founded in 2023. While our society is primarily composed of high school students, we also have university and middle school students among our members. Mathematics Leva Science Community has been regularly organizing mathematics and culture camps every summer since 2023. Our mathematics camps mainly cover advanced-level and diverse perspectives on olympiad topics, as well as various advanced mathematics subjects. Culture In our cultural camps, we have many instructors who specialize in specific fields and teach courses that cover fundamental knowledge and important details in those areas. Vision Our aim is to make information and learning accessible and free in this day and age, to enable people to discern the essence of what information means, and to facilitate the collective transfer of knowledge. Leva's Principles 01 Separate the Core From the Casing In everyday life, in mathematics, and everywhere else, evaluate concepts by what they are intended to mean or what they represent, not by how they appear. 02 The One Who Is Not Curious Remains a Slave Those who are curious learn, develop, and produce knowledge. A person devoid of curiosity, however, is bound to accept what others dictate to them. One whose thought is not free cannot be free as an individual. 03 Dare to Use Your Brain An individual is only truly an individual to the extent that they can generate their own perspective and ideas through reason. You cannot chart your own path using someone else's mind, worldview, and values. 04 Question All Forms of Authority Scientific and intellectual breakthroughs throughout history have occurred through the questioning of existing paradigms without the approval of authority. Question the individuals and institutions that claim authority over you in terms of knowledge or power. 05 Progress Does Not Happen Without Effort Hardships that do not kill you only make you stronger. Facing struggles is the driving force that enables you to be better than you are today. 06 Hold the Hands of Those Who Walk the Same Path As You Knowledge and kindness multiply when shared. Help those who are walking towards the same goal as you, teach them what you know, so that they will do the same for you. In the end, everyone will have multiplied their knowledge and peace of mind, and you will reach your goal. 07 Do not Reduce People to Numbers People are the sum of their emotions, thoughts, character, family, environment, and efforts. To define someone solely based on a score or ranking on an exam is the greatest insult one can inflict upon them.
